As an independent ecological research and consultancy firm, Altenburg & Wymenga is an experienced partner for government agencies, water boards, nature conservation organizations, civil society organizations, engineering firms, consultancies and other companies.

Since 1988 we have been helping our clients with independent research, plans and visions for spatial planning, biodiversity restoration, ecological impact assessments and integrated water resources management. Our own (field) research and data analysis form important sources of knowledge building, inspiration and advice.

We often work in multidisciplinary teams and work together in partnerships, for example with engineering firms, landscape architects, (urban) planners, universities and research institutes. We stand for an innovative approach, based on sound ecological data, collected and processed according to scientifically sound methods.
