By public transport


Every hour four local trains will stop at the Amsterdam Science Park station from/to Amsterdam Central Station (8 min).

From Amsterdam Central Station (8 min) or Zwolle/Lelystad/Almere, every hour two trains from both directions will stop at the Amsterdam Science Park station. Every hour there are two ‘sprinters’ (fast trains) from Zwolle/Lelystad/Almere and another two from Hilversum. Every 30 minutes there is a direct train connection between Amsterdam Science Park and Schiphol. It means you can be at the Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport in about 32 minutes.

At the Amsterdam Amstel train station and the Amsterdam Muiderpoort train station, you may take bus number 40. In daytime a bus will be ready every 7.5 minutes (Amsterdam Amstel) and every 15 minutes (Amsterdam Muiderpoort) to take you to Amsterdam Science Park. In rush hours bus number 240 will pick you up from Amsterdam Amstel every 15 minutes.

The departure and arrival hours of busses 40 and 240 are available on the website of the GVB (local public transport company of Amsterdam). You may request personal travel advice and find information on all bus, underground and tram connections in the city of Amsterdam.

Public transport + bike   

At the Amsterdam Amstel train station and also at the Amsterdam Muiderpoort train station it is perfectly possible to rent a bike (about 10 to 15 minutes to Amsterdam Science Park).

By car

Amsterdam Science Park is easy to reach by car.

From the A10 ring road

All motorways in the direction of Amsterdam will take you to Amsterdam’s ring road known as RING A10. If you are travelling from Amersfoort, please choose the direction of Utrecht/The Hague.
From Utrecht, The Hague, Schiphol, Haarlem and Zaandam you need to follow the road signs in the direction of Amersfoort. Then take the Watergraafsmeer (S113) exit. At the end of this exit, follow the direction of Watergraafsmeer/Science Park. You are now on the Middenweg road. Turn right into Kruislaan. Keep driving until after the tunnel you will have reached Amsterdam Science Park.

From the city center

If you are travelling from the city center, take the Carolina Mac Gillavrylaan exit (a street off Molukkenstraat). You have now reached Amsterdam Science Park.

Parking facilities

On Amsterdam Science Park, please follow the signposts to find the right parking lots. If a parking space has been booked in your name, please make sure you park your vehicle on P4. It is located between Science Park 404 and 406. Alternatively, you may leave your vehicle on the public (paid) parking lot P7.
